Merrill Osmond and Joseph Paur

Today my family went to the Hale Theater to see the production Civil War. It was fabulous! For anyone who has never seen it.... definitely a must see. Anyway, my sister and I were excited to meet Merrill Osmond and Joseph Paur. Merrill Osmond is well...from the famous Osmond family, and Joseph Paur stars as the vocal teacher in the film Rigoletto. I grew up watching that film and I LOVE it! :) They were both so down-to-earth and extremely personable. Haha- Merrill actually grabbed my face and told me that I looked exactly like his niece Amy. What a fun experience meeting these two men!

David Beckham

Wow... I was about ready to die when I found out that my cousin Ryan knew David Beckham... only the hottest soccer star ever... no biggy haha. This is Ryan's son Jordan sitting on his lap in this photo. I guess Ryan works for REAL so he has connections. Pretty neat huh? Thought I would share. :)

South Dakota Rapid City Mission

March 25, 2008 Well as you can see I actually have TWO missionaries out! My boyfriend is serving in Watertown, South Dakota right now and has been out for 10 months. We are coming up on a year in May! :) He loves his mission and has been highly successful thus far. I will be posting photos of his mission on here as well to keep all of you updated.

Argentina Mendoza Mission

So recently, my little brother has had some pretty funny experiences with his investigators. There are two instances that he wrote us about that made me laugh.



1st Instance:

My brother and Elder Hoover were teaching a family about baptism. A little boy in this family looks at a picture like this one and says...

"Elder Lambert, is he going to hit him?!?"


2nd Instance:

At one of the baptisms, my brother came out of the changing room all in white, ready to baptize one of his investigators and she says...

"Elder Lambert, YOU are getting baptized today too??? Why didn't you invite ME!?"

And yes.. she was completely serious. :)Cute huh?

My cute brother is currently serving in the Mendoza, Argentina Mission. I will be posting some of his photos on here for those of you that know him, and for those of you that don't... well... enjoy! :) He's having a blast! He went into the MTC on January 2nd and then left for Argentina on March 3rd.

HAPPY EASTER! :) I can't believe that it has already come. I liked it so much better in April! It doesn't feel right- that dang moon...haha. My family is coming over for our annual "Birthday/Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt". The kids fight over who finds what! It's pretty funny. I quite enjoy the candy myself and... the eggs aren't too bad either. :) Actually, I would rather color them and make all of them pretty! We just colored our eggs today, but I was so frustrated because... ok... so how many of you get frustrated when you can't tell whether the little egg dye tablets are pink or orange or yellow or... haha good grief. We thought one of the dye tablets was pink because it matched the dye container and then it turned out to be orange!!! How lame. Haha yes, I know I get a little too analytical. My brain is a mess! :) Anyway, to all of you egg-dye-ers out there... BEWARE OF THE PINK TABLET... it's really orange. :) Love all of you!
